When we talk about class acts on and off the field, we are proud to say that Tim Brown is a prime example of that. From winning the Heisman Trophy in 1987 to being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Brown has set the bar high for future wide receivers.
Two years ago on November 6, Dallas Mayor, Mike Rawlings officially named the day as Tim Brown Day in honor of his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Tim Brown became the first Dallas Independent School District graduate ever enshrined in Canton. Before heading to Notre Dame to play college ball, Brown graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. Even though the team did not shine, Brown did.
